Give them lip, with Bite Beauty.

As I get older, my lips feel shrivelled up like an old witch. I am always on the hunt for new products to help remedy the problem. I have been a red lipstick addict for 25 years, and have been through numerous lipsticks, stains, glosses, scrubs …you name it, I have tried it!

In a Sephora subscription beauty box I purchased awhile ago I received a mauve tone Bite Beauty lip crayon, I tossed it aside because it wasn’t my usual red. A few weeks ago, I was feeling adventurous and decided to try it out. I was completely surprised how much my lips loved this and even more pleased I didn’t look like a prune mouth or develop that weird cake-like build up after a few hours. The pigment was surprisingly vivid, blended well with my lipliner, and felt nothing like those waxy, nasty tasting lip crayons I’ve tried in the past. From then on I have been hooked on this lip crayon.

After being so pleasantly surprised by my new found lip discovery. I decided to try more products from Bite Beauty. They are a Canadian based company that specialises in lip care. Although not every product is vegan, they are cruelty free, don’t test on animals, and products don’t contain parabens, phthalates or sulfates. All products are made of food grade ingredients.

I purchased this very cool packaged Sweet Treats: Party Prep kit and received a very cool free lipstick bonus.

Sweet Treats: Party Prep Kit

Contents of the Sweet Treat bottle include: (all mini sized, retail $12)

  • Agave Lip Mask in Champagne
  • Agave Lip Balm in Clear
  • one time sample of Agave Sugar Lip Scrub
Agave Lip Mask in Champagne, worn over the Amushe Bouche lipstick in Fig.

This a is great trial package …the Agave Lip Mask is literally amazing! It has a beautiful soft golden sheen and WHOA! my lips felt gorgeous…it leaves a subtle taste of sweets on your lips. The Agave Lip Balm feels lovely too, it is a slightly thicker, not a heavy consistency…perfect for healing during those windy seasons or anytime. They really teased me with the one time trial of the Agave Weekly Lip Scrub! It’s brilliant, and not loaded with large sugar granules and thick oils, which I tend to find in most lip scrubs. I adore this scrub and the oh-so-sweet subtle scent of vanilla…this one product not to be missed!

Out of the all the products I tried, I have to say, my lips enjoyed everything, it was like taking them to a spa. It’s very difficult to narrow down a favorite, but if I have to choose… I’m a bit more partial to the Amuse Bouche ‘Fig’ Lipstick with its rich pigment and creaminess, without heaviness or drying…it just wears beautifully and feels so good! If your looking for hydrating, exfoliating, nourishing and natural lip care with color or not, I think Bite Beauty has hit the mark…and be prepared to give your lips indulgence that doesn’t bite! (wink, wink)

  1. Bite beauty is one of my favorite brands! When I went to NYC last year I made sure to stop by their lip lab and make my own lipsticks. I love their ethos, not to mention that they’re the only brand with a zodiac collection where Capricorn is an actual good color lol
